I have been a missionary for 6 months! Crazy!
We were able to teach a lady on Tuesday named Annalee that Äldste Harris and I met on the street a few months back! She was happy to see us again, and the lesson went well. Annalee was previously neighbors with the current president of the Stockholm Sweden Temple, and she remembered that he always said no to coffee and tea! I am so grateful for his good example 20 years ago that left an impression on Annalee! You never know who is watching and remembering!
Äldste Erdman and I have started to practice singing each evening! We both want to get better. The only difficulty is that we aren't sure how well the neighbors can hear through the walls, we tend to sing quite loudly.
On lördag we had dinner at Sister Girdlestone's house! It was trevlig as always. Sister Girdlestone talked about how she met the missionaries and knew the Book of Mormon was true right away when she read it! Her husband, who had his degree in religious psychology asked her how she knew that Mormonism was true when she hadn't researched a thing about Islam or any of the others! She just responded with her testimony of the Book of Mormon and told him how that was a part of her testimony. What a powerful book! At the dinner I realized that the first time I had dinner at her house it was with 3 different missionaries who have now moved on! I have outlived them! Where has the time gone?
