Jakobsberg Week 7 - April 2, 2018

Glad Påsk!

What an amazing weekend! General conference was great, we have seen all of the sessions except for the Sunday Afternoon. But I found out from others about the new 'ministering' and the temple in Layton, Utah! Wow! I really enjoyed listening to our new prophet and I look forward to studying his words and all of the other talks.

We moved this week and I just thought of Grandpa and Grandma Hunsaker as the apartment couple in Germany the whole time! My job was to pull out the oven and clean where it had stood. I don't think that behind the oven had been cleaned for a few years! Thank you to them for always having a clean home where the Spirit can abide. I sure look up to my grandparents!

Most of Tuesday was spent packing up our apartment on Råsundavägen in Solna and unpacking it all at the new apartment on Uddnäsvägan in Stäket (Kallhäll)! I have included a few pictures below. The apartment couple, Elder and Sister Anderson, helped us to move. It was fun talking to them and learning more about them. They are from Sparks, Nevada and have been here in Sweden for about a year and a half now.

Our new apartment is rather cool! We live underneath a garage. The view out of the kitchen window looks like the mountains of Montana. It is on the bank of a huge river with evergreen trees all around. It is also super modern so it feels more like a hotel. We live in a wealthier area of Stockholm with lots of huge houses around.

It has been interesting because the bus doesn't come to our area that often so we have been biking to the train station each morning!

We had dinner with two of the sisters investigators this week! The first was with AmiLi, she made a ton of Thai food! The second was with Phillips, he made fufu and stew from Ghana.

Sorry, this email feels short and uninformative but I have to go!

Have a great week, Happy Easter again!
